Adding flavors to your matcha latte(if you must...)

Matcha's complex flavor is as beautiful as its color.   In regards to matcha lattes I love the bitterness of the tea that complements the sweetness of the milk and sugar.

If you want to drink matcha lattes but find that you need something to take off the bitter edge, or are just looking for a unique twist to your drink, these flavors combine well with the flavor of matcha:

-vanilla(either extract or ice cream if you're making a frappe)
-melon syrup(this is what's typically added to some of the coffee shop green tea lattes)
-banana(for frappes; makes an awesome breakfast shake!)
-white chocolate
-ginger

Also, I recently saw this post about Black Sesame Matcha Lattes being served at Starbucks in Hong Kong.  It looks like I will be trying to make that in the near future; I will let you know how it tastes.

What, if anything, do you like to add to your matcha latte?

As always, our phone number and e-mail are easily accessible on the website, so please feel free to contact me anytime if you have any questions about our teas or the ordering process, or if you have a comment or suggestion.
